Concrete Batch Plant Foreman

Concrete Batch Plant Foreman Job Description

The Concrete Batch Plant Foreman at Great Plains Redi Mix Concrete in Lincoln NE will be responsible for overseeing all activities at the concrete batch plant, ensuring efficient and timely production of high-quality concrete mixes. This individual will lead a team of plant operators, drivers, and maintenance personnel to ensure all plant operations run smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of plant operators, drivers, and maintenance personnel
  • Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer demand
  • Monitor inventory levels and order materials as necessary
  • Ensure quality control measures are followed to produce consistent and high-quality concrete mixes
  • Maintain equipment and perform regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns
  • Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe work environment
  • Train new employees on plant operations and safety procedures
  • Communicate with customers and resolve any issues or concerns

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a concrete batch plant or similar production facility
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of concrete mixing and batching processes
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CDL Class B license preferred
